Under the heading "Legal bases" you will find a number of legal bases in alphabetic order, which are important in connection with the tasks of the DIBt. They are carefully arranged, but do not claim to be complete. They merely serve as information. Normally the texts are published as pdf file.

The Musterbauordnung ('Model Building Code'), the Musterverordnungen der Bauministerkonferenz (ARGEBAU) ('Model ordinances of the ministers responsible for building') and any form of legal regulations enacted by the Laender based on the Bauordnungen ('Building Codes') can be looked at and downloaded on the homepage of the Bauministerkonferenz (click on: "Mustervorschriften/Mustererlasse").

Furthermore, in the alphabetic summary there are also explanations concerning the terms; these are presently developed.

Up-to-dateness, correctness and completeness of the information provided cannot be guaranteed. The binding texts of directives, laws and regulations are to be gathered from the Official Journal of the European Union, the Bundesgesetzblatt and the law gazettes of the Laender (bibliography).
