Jet grouting, high-pressure grouting

Jet our high-pressure grouting serves to produce structural elements (jet-grouted elements and/or jet-grouted bodies of soil made of jet-grouted elements) in the soil. These procedures are soil-strengthening techniques in accordance with DIN 4093. The in-situ soil is separated from the soil texture under high pressure and mixed with binder suspensions. Structural elements form after curing.

Regulatory framework

After the publication and official citation of DIN EN 12716:2019-03 'Execution of special geotechnical work – Jet grouting; German version EN 12716:2018' in the Technical Building Rules, the design and execution of structural elements by jet- or high-pressure grouting is now regulated, cf. MVV TB, no. 1.2.2.7. A general construction technique permit (aBG) is no longer required.

To ensure equal treatment of all applicants, manufacturers can transitionally still obtain a general construction technique permit with a period of validity ending on 6 May 2024.

The use of these techniques for ground improvement is permitted from a regulatory point of view and does not require a construction technique permit.
