The DIBt Annual Report 2023/2024 is now available in the English language. Following its digital debut in the German language earlier this year, the English version makes the report accessible to an even broader, international audience. This underscores DIBt’s ongoing commitment to international dialogue and transparent information on building regulation.

In the foreword titled 'Embracing change', DIBt President Gerhard Breitschaft outlines important developments in the construction sector, including the revision of the Construction Products Regulation, sustainability, digitalisation, and the advancement of the technical regulatory framework –­ for example through the CPR Acquis work and the completion of the second generation of Eurocodes – as well as the widely debated question of what a reasonable cost for future-oriented and safe construction is.
