The Eurocodes are the common basis for a high level of structural safety all across Europe. According to estimates, some 500.000 engineers within the EU and beyond use the Eurocodes for their daily work.

To date, work on the second generation of the Eurocodes has reached an advanced stage that makes it possible to give an outlook on the key changes and innovations the next generation will bring. In cooperation with the chairs of CEN/TC 250 and its subcommittees, DIBt will present the second generation Eurocodes within the framework of an internaitonal conference.

The event will bring together designers, specifiers, contractors and their respective associations as well as building authorities and regulators both within the EU/EFTA region and worldwide.
